Job summary

Tower Semiconductor Newport Beach is seeking a production technician to evaluate and monitor wafer fabrication operations, ensuring optimal process performance and equipment functionality. You will investigate routine problems, apply corrective actions, and follow established procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, with AA/AS degree or equivalent, and experience with etch tools.

Qualifications

• Requires an AA/AS degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years relevant work experience within Semiconductor industry.
• Etch tool experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and adjust process equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Disposition production lots that fall outside of control limits.
• Recover wafers from tool aborts and minimize production loss.
• Identify recurring problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in identifying and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Execute detailed written and oral instructions with precision.
• Evaluate line operator procedures and initiate problem resolution.
• Perform in-process control measurements and maintain accurate records.
• Create and develop measurement recipes.
• Assist in training and mentoring production personnel.
