Job summary

Job Description

Evaluate and monitor wafer fabrication operations to ensure optimal process performance and equipment functionality. Investigate routine operational problems, identify root causes, and initiate appropriate corrective actions to resolve issues efficiently.

Work on a diverse range of technical, semi‑routine assignments that are non‑standardized in nature, following established procedures and adhering to written or verbal instructions. Apply critical thinking skills to recognize deviations from accepted practices and implement timely corrective measures to maintain process integrity.

Work Shift: N2 (Thursday through Saturday, plus every other Wednesday) | 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM

This job is for you if
  • Set up, monitor, and adjust process equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Disposition production lots that fall outside of control limits
  • Recover wafers from tool aborts and minimize production loss
  • Identify recurring problems and recommend corrective actions
  • Assist in identifying and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions
  • Execute detailed written and oral instructions with precision
  • Evaluate line operator procedures and initiate problem resolution
  • Perform in-process control measurements and maintain accurate records
  • Create and develop measurement recipes
  • Assist in training and mentoring production personnel
  • Demonstrate consistent growth and development in technical capabilities
  • Work on tasks of low to medium complexity and assist in problem evaluation
  • Provide technical training to operators on equipment within established parameters
  • Collaborate primarily with similarly classified employees across the organization
  • Work independently on routine tasks; receive guidance on new assignments
  • Operate in a fab clean‑room environment
  • Bring one or more years of technical experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Possess working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing tools and processes
Job Requirements
  • Requires an AA/AS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years relevant work experience within Semiconductor industry.
  • Etch tool experience preferred.
