Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Billings, MT is recruiting a donor screener/phlebotomy support. You will greet donors, screen, take vital signs, document donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation to support plasma center operations.

Requires a high school diploma, ability to stand, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates with customer-facing experience are helpful; lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally is possible. Benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.
• 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety and service.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and initiate changes using approved procedures.
• Support donors across shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
