Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Plasma Donor Screener with phlebotomy duties to support plasma center operations. You will greet donors, screen them, perform vitals, and manage donor records using our information system.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to stand for long periods, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; prior customer-facing experience is a plus. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand or walk for the full shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 5 lbs with occasional lifting up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ year experience in a customer or patient-facing role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement approved changes.
• Support donors across varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
