Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Augusta, GA is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. Responsibilities include donor screening, phlebotomy, vitals recording, and compensation coordination.

Flexible shifts include evenings, weekends and holidays, with a strong focus on customer service and safety. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to stand for long periods, and lifting up to 5 lbs (occasionally more).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs, occasional lifting up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing equipment from a distance.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring donor and staff safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and implement changes per procedures.
• Support donors across a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
