Job summary

BioLife Plasma Center in Georgia is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support. Shifts run 4–6 hours, at least 3 days per week, with weekends/evenings until 9 PM and a minimum of 30 hours.

You will screen donors, record vitals, use the donor system, and assist with donor compensation. Requires a high school diploma, ability to stand, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens requiring glove wear.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and initiate changes per procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
