Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Lenexa, KS is seeking a phlebotomist to greet donors, perform venipuncture, and support plasma center operations.

You will monitor donors, operate plasmapheresis equipment under training, record vital signs, and coordinate donor flow on the floor. A high school diploma is required, and you must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a part-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on rare occasions.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter/exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor vital signs and enter data into DIS.
• Coordinate donors to floor and compensate using Debit Card system.
• Support center management in process improvement initiatives.
