Job summary

Takeda is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist in Joplin, MO to support BioLife plasma center operations. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor donors during donations, and manage associated equipment and data entry.

The role requires ability to stand for long shifts, occasional lifting, and availability evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training includes 5S/Kaizen methods as part of continuous improvement culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
• Able to lift up to 32 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal of materials.
• Record donor measurements and enter data into the DIS.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors.
• Support center management in identifying operational improvements.
