Job summary

CSL is seeking qualified medical professionals to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures and provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff. You will interview donors, obtain medical histories, and determine eligibility to donate plasma under supervision of the Center Medical Director.

Responsibilities include reviewing test results, counseling donors on reactive results, and referring as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a paramedic, nursing, PA, chiropractic, medical school or naturopathic program.
• Licensed or certified as applicable per state requirements.
• Minimum one year in a health care environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff.
• Respond to medically related questions with the Center Medical Director.
• Review test results and assess continued donor suitability.
• Notify and counsel donors regarding reactive test results and refer as needed.
• Follow SOPs and escalate critical situations to the Center Physician or local providers.
