Job summary

LFB Biopharmaceuticals in High Point, NC is seeking a dedicated Donor Center Screener to greet donors, register them, and perform essential screening and testing. You will monitor hematocrit and protein tests, ensure accurate questionnaire data, and determine donor eligibility through medical history and exams.

You will provide counseling on results, handle post-donation information, and address adverse events while following SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with donors and team members.
• Ability to follow instructions and read directions clearly.
• Basic math and computer literacy for donor management systems.
• Current CPR certification and state licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register donors in the donor management system.
• Conduct screening: blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, arm checks.
• Perform finger sticks for hematocrit and total protein testing; monitor questionnaires.
• Assess donor eligibility via medical history, exam, education on testing and consent.
• Counsel donors on unacceptable results; manage adverse events.
• Coordinate donor investigations and post-donation information.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and internal procedures.
• Maintain open communication with management; professional demeanor at all times.
• Attend mandatory shifts and participate in ongoing training.
