Job summary

CSL Plasma in Greensboro, NC seeks a phlebotomist to collect plasma via pheresis and monitor donors per SOPs. You will perform donor setup, venipuncture, and ongoing donor care in a fast-paced center.

Requirements include a high school diploma, at least 6 months as a phlebotomist, and 12 months in a medical setting. Training provided; must follow PPE and safety policies. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist; 1 year preferable.
• Minimum twelve (12) months of experience in a medical or health care environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs pheresis procedure and plasma collection including donor setup, monitoring and disconnect.
• Performs venipuncture to begin pheresis process in compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines.
• Monitors vein performance; makes adjustments to expedite donation time and ensure safety and quality.
• Educates new donors on therapeutic products, screening, appointment system, fees, policies and nutrition.
