Qualifications

• Active state licensure in paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, naturopathic training program or medical school.
• Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience or clinical training.
• Experience in plasma or regulated environment preferred.
• Ability to perform and interpret physical assessments and donor health checks.
• Knowledge of informed consent, immunization schedules and adverse event management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Administer approved immunizations and provide limited emergency medical care.
• Promote positive donor relations and conduct confidential interviews.
• Respond to medically related questions with Center Medical Director/Physician.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic management system.
• Notify and counsel donors about reactive test results and refer for follow-up.
• Explain informed consent and obtain signatures.
• Maintain safety and SOP compliance; manage emergencies per SOPs.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed; bilingual skills may be required.
