Job summary

Chromalloy in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Coating-Plasma Chemical Process Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm). You will work in a manufacturing environment applying coatings to gas turbine engine components, following strict work instructions and specifications.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing, reading blueprints, and teamwork. The company offers comprehensive benefits starting on day one and growth opportunities within a global engineering organization.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to follow instructions, read and interpret blueprints.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks such as spray coating application, monitor coating application and coating adherence per work instructions and customer specifications.
• May perform tasks such as assembly, disassembly, blending, grit blast and masking/prep in accordance with work instructions and customer specifications.
• Performs all work in accordance with plant safety rules and maintains highest quality standards in the execution of all assigned work.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on all machines and other routine labor work as required in accordance with production flow.
• Operator prepares necessary quality documents and confirms quality of own work using inspection tools in accordance with product specifications, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Operator to adhere to all 5s policies and have a continuous improvement mindset.
