Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC is seeking a Chemical Process Operator for our 1st shift in San Antonio, TX. This role focuses on thermally applying coatings to gas turbine engine components as part of a team, ensuring aviation safety and reliability.

You will follow work instructions, monitor coating processes, and document quality while adhering to safety standards. The position requires a HS Diploma or GED, 3–5 years in manufacturing, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Spray coating application and monitor coating adherence per work instructions and specs.
• Assist in assembly, disassembly, blending, grit blast and masking/prep per instructions and specs.
• Maintain plant safety rules and high quality standards on all tasks.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and support equipment.
• Prepare quality documents and verify product quality using inspection tools.
