Coating‑Plasma Chemical Process Operator

2nd shift (3:00pm – 11:30pm) Monday - Friday

Position Summary

Operator is responsible for performing processes to thermally apply coatings as part of a team to manufacture and repair gas turbine engine components.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks such as spray coating application, monitor coating adherence per work instructions, and customer specifications.
  • May perform tasks such as assembly, disassembly, blending, grit blast and masking/prep in accordance with work instructions and customer specifications.
  • Perform all work in accordance with plant safety rules and maintain highest quality standards.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on all machines and other routine labor work as required in accordance with production flow.
  • Prepare necessary quality documents and confirm quality of own work using inspection tools in accordance with product specifications, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Adhere to all 5s policies and have a continuous improvement mindset.
Qualifications
  • Must have HS Diploma or GED. Strong shop mathematics including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals and fractions required.
  • On-the-job experience of 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must be able to follow instructions, read and interpret blueprints.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job‑related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
