Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC in Orangeburg, NY is seeking a Coating - Plasma - Supervisor for the Production 2nd shift. You will lead daily/weekly plans, coordinate with other areas, ensure equipment is in proper working order, and maintain a clean, 5S-aligned work environment.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and manufacturing knowledge; a Repairman Certificate or A&P license within a few months is preferred to supervise maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Practical knowledge of aircraft components, machining, welding and inspection.
• Self-motivated with ownership and accountability.
• Eligible to supervise maintenance activities with Repairman Certificate or A&P license within 2–4 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other areas to meet goals.
• Ensure equipment is in proper working order.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment following 5S principles.
• Assign and execute daily and weekly production schedules.
• Provide accurate and timely performance information to management.
• Ensure compliance with MOS IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements.
• Resolve performance/disciplinary issues with employees in coordination with Human Resources.
• Interaction with Customers as needed.
