Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills; including Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Problem solving and organizational skills.
• Practical knowledge of aircraft components, machining, welding, inspection, and related disciplines.
• Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability.
• Six Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt preferred.
• Team building skills.
• Position must be able to obtain a Repairman Certificate within 2-4 months of employment or have the credentials i.e. A&P license so they are able to supervise any maintenance activity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other areas to meet production goals.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and functional.
• Provide timely performance information and administrative updates.
• Meet short- and long-range production plans.
• Ensure materials and supplies are available to execute daily plans.
• Supervise and train staff assigned to operations.
• Address corrective actions and improve area performance.
• Document performance and communicate with management.
