Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is hiring a Medical Support Specialist in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will support daily operations of the plasma collection center, ensuring donor eligibility and safety while conducting medical assessments.

The ideal candidate will have a valid RN, NP, or PA license with two years of clinical experience, along with comprehensive training in plasma collection. A competitive hourly wage, health benefits, and retirement plans are included.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant license.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience required.
• Completion of FDA-approved Medical Support Specialist training is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and manage adverse events.
• Conduct medical history interviews and physical exams.
• Coordinate care with the Center Physician during emergencies.
• Support vaccination programs and manage employee incidents.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when necessary.

CPR and AED certification

IV therapy licensure
