Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Plasma Center Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Kokomo, IN team. You will determine donor eligibility, monitor donor safety, review laboratory results, and support center operations under management and medical oversight.

Requirements include an active RN license, CPR/AED, and at least two years of clinical experience. Competitive benefits are provided and the role is on-site at our Kokomo center.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• Informed consent, medical history interview and donor eligibility knowledge.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards for plasma centers.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, medical history and testing.
• Evaluate donor reactions and respond to emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer complex medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Oversee occupational health/ER incidents in coordination with EHS.
