BioLife Plasma Services in Kokomo, IN seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable tests. The LPN works under the Center Manager and Center Physician, aligning with plasma industry regulations.

The candidate will need a state-licensed LPN/LVN, CPR/AED, and at least two years in a clinical setting, plus FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Qualifications

• LPN or LVN license in the state of responsibility.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, history and exam.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents per EHS guidance and escalate as needed.
