Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Attleboro, MA, part of Takeda, seeks an Operations Manager to oversee the plasma collection facility's day-to-day operations, including financial, regulatory, quality and facilities management.

You will report to the District Manager and lead a team to ensure donor retention, high service levels and efficient production while maintaining compliance with all regulations. The role requires weekend work and potential travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a medical or other regulated field or equivalent.
• Ability to work weekends/extended periods and occasional travel.
• Requires CPR and AED certification.
• Must be mobile for entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and monitor equipment sound.
• Must have depth perception and fine motor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations and use data to monitor metrics.
• Oversee hiring, training and development of employees.
• Provide leadership to maintain donor retention, customer service and production cost data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company regulations for safety and quality.
• Manage facility audit processes and resolve issues from audits.
• Forecast production and cost goals while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage bloodborne pathogens protocols.
