Job summary

Takeda is seeking a facility operations leader at BioLife Plasma in Colonial Heights, VA. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while driving donor satisfaction and production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree desired
• Minimum of three years' experience preferably in a medical or other regulated field
• Ability to work weekends/extended periods and occasional travel
• Requires CPR and AED certification
• Mobility for entire work shift and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Fine motor coordination and ability to monitor equipment sound from a distance

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations within the facility and use data to monitor metrics
• Oversee employee hiring, training and develop employee talent
• Provide leadership to ensure donor retention, high customer service levels, production monitoring and cost data
• Comply with federal, state, local and company regulations related to quality, employee and donor safety
• Manage facility audit processes and help resolve issues from audits
• Forecast and attain production and cost goals while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Manage bloodborne pathogens protocols
• Lead the production and regulatory processes in a Bioscience facility
