Job summary

Takeda's Baltimore plasma operations facility seeks a District Operations Manager to oversee the production area and lead the staff in quality, regulatory, safety and cost control. You will report to the District Manager and manage facility operations, including financial, marketing, administrative, regulatory, quality, personnel and facilities tasks.

This leadership role requires a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), 3+ years in a medical or regulated field, CPR/AED certification,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher level degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a medical or other regulated field.
• Ability to work weekends/extended periods and travel occasionally.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Must be mobile and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations within the facility and use data to monitor metrics.
• Oversee employee hiring, training and develop employee talent.
• Provide leadership to ensure donor retention, high customer service levels, production monitoring and cost data.
• Comply with all federal, state, local and company regulations related to quality of product, employee and donor safety.
• Manage facility audit processes and help resolve any related issues that arise from the audit.
• Forecast and attain production and cost goals, while assuring compliance with BioLife, local and federal regulations.
• Manage bloodborne pathogens protocols.
