BioLife Plasma Services in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support donor processing and safety in a fast-paced plasma center.

You will determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review lab results, and coordinate with the Center Manager and Physician. This role offers a sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, on-demand pay, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent to including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements
• Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: LPN or LVN
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy
• Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility; manage informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview, physical exam, blood testing, and SPE review
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and center physician standing orders; manage medical emergencies
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical/technical guidance and donor safety
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with EHS for investigations
• Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and assist investigations of pandemic threats
