Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Sheboygan, Wisconsin is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to assess donor eligibility, obtain consent, perform medical history interviews, and conduct physical examinations.

You will coordinate with the Center Physician, manage donor safety, support vaccination programs and act as Pandemic Coordinator when needed, with competitive hourly pay of $22.80–$31.35 and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires state-recognized nursing program graduate or higher.
• Two years of clinical or hospital setting experience.
• CPR and AED certification is current.
• EMT-Paramedic license or certification required.
• FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and obtain informed consent.
• Review donor medical history and perform basic physical exam.
• Coordinate with Center Physician for standing orders and emergencies.
• Communicate findings to donors and staff regarding safety and eligibility.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health initiatives.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when required and assist investigations.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent including nursing program

Current CPR and AED certification

Basic IV therapy qualification
