Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (LPN/LVN or RN) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety under physician guidance.

You will be involved in vaccination programs and incident management as part of a fast-paced team. Qualified candidates hold an active nursing license, CPR/AED, and EMT certification, with at least two years in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of responsibilities with current CPR/AED.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and acceptance requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and inform donors of unsuitable results.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical guidance as needed.
• Assist with EHS guidance and incident investigations when applicable.
