BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations in Orlando, FL. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor safety, and coordinate with physicians for medical issues while following FDA‑approved BioLife training and SOPs.

You will participate in donor safety programs and OSHA/EHS guidance, maintain clinical competencies, and work under the Center Manager and Center Physician for medical guidance.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state license (EMT-B/A/I/P, LPN/LVN, or RN).
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• CPR and AED certification current.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, medical history and donor acceptance requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs and arrange transport if needed.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with EHS guidance.
• May serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
