Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services at Takeda is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to ensure donor eligibility, monitor adverse events, and review laboratory results. You will operate under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance to support plasma center operations.

The role requires nursing credentials, CPR/AED certification, and clinical experience, with responsibilities spanning donor safety, patient confidentiality, and compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with nursing program credentials.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State licensure as EMT/RN/LPN/LVN or paramedic, per state requirements.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and informed consent processes.
• Manage donor adverse events and review SPE results.
• Refer medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
• Support vaccination programs and environmental health and safety.
