Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, is hiring a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, evaluate donor reactions, and review laboratory test results. You will support center operations under the Center Manager and Center Physician, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and EHS guidelines.

The role requires relevant licensure (EMT or RN/LPN), CPR/AED certification, and a minimum of two years clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Licensure as EMT (EMT-B/EMT-A/P) or RN/LPN in the state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years clinical or hospital experience.
• Familiar with plasma collection regulations and SOPs.
• FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable tests.
• Provide center-level support for environmental, health and safety (EHS).
