Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, administer immunizations per SOPs, and provide limited emergency care within licensure.

The role requires knowledge of cGMP and regulatory guidelines and cross-training across center operations. The position involves collaboration with a Licensed Physician, documentation, and mentorship of staff, with opportunities for career development in a compliant, donor-focused

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program (Physician, LPN, or RN).
• Current state license/certification as appropriate (Physician, RN, LPN, EMT, or equivalent).
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of hospital, field care, or plasma center experience preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts (days/evenings/weekends/holidays).
• State authorization to perform moderate complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews and assessments.
• Review and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Consult with Licensed Physician on abnormal results and immunizations.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain Physician Communication Logs and eligibility docs.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and act as QA Backup.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate to ensure donor-focused, efficient center operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
