Zusammenfassung

BioLife Plasma Services is hiring a Plasma Center Nurse (LPN/LVN) to determine donor eligibility, monitor adverse events, review lab tests, and notify donors of results. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician for medical guidance, supporting EHS and vaccination programs where applicable.

Two years in a clinical setting and state licensure are required, along with CPR/AED and basic IV therapy readiness.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program graduate with state requirements.
• Licensed as LPN or LVN in the applicable state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Aufgaben

• Determine donor eligibility, including consent, education, history, and physical exam.
• Review laboratory results and SPE; manage donor adverse events.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results with appropriate guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER.
• May serve as Pandemic Coordinator as authorized by EHS and Medical Affairs.
