Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Joliet, IL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for day-one benefits on a part-time basis. You will determine donor eligibility, monitor donor safety, and work under the Plasma Center Manager and Center Physician.

Required: active IL LPN license, CPR/AED, two years clinical experience, and IV therapy readiness. Compensation starts at $30 per hour, with additional benefits including medical/dental and PTO in a fast-paced plasma center setting.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Illinois required.
• Two years clinical or hospital experience preferred.
• Current CPR and AED certification is required.
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and donor history.
• Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory results.
• Provide center level support on environmental, health and safety matters.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and assist with incident investigations.
