Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking a Planting Crew member to install trees and plants according to landscape plans, ensuring proper spacing, alignment, and healthy growth. The role involves outdoor manual labor, operating basic tools, and maintaining a clean work area.

Candidates should be able to handle physical work, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with team members to meet project timelines. No prior experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform manual labor.
• Preferred experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related field.
• Ability to operate power and hand tools.
• Follow instructions and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Plant trees, shrubs, and other plants according to landscape plans.
• Ensure proper fertilization and planting techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading plants, tools, equipment and any other equipment needed for the day's tasks.
• Adhere to PPE usage and safety guidelines.
• Communicate with team and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
