Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries in Florida is seeking a dedicated Planting Crew member to install trees and shrubs according to landscape plans. You will plant, space, and align materials while maintaining a clean work area and delivering high-quality customer service.

This role requires physical endurance to lift up to 75 lbs, outdoor work in varying conditions, and strict adherence to safety protocols, PPE, and utility safety procedures. Training is provided and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform manual labor.
• Experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related field preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow specific instructions and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Plant trees, shrubs, and plants according to landscape plans and specifications.
• Ensure proper fertilization and planting techniques for healthy growth.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and complete projects on time.
• Assist with loading/unloading plants and equipment, ensuring accurate counts and proper weight distribution.
• Follow PPE requirements and safety guidelines to ensure personal safety.
• Adhere to Blue Stake/811 safety protocols to prevent underground utility damage.
