Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking a Landscape Supervisor / Planting Crew Manager to lead installation projects for residential and commercial sites. You will plan installations, direct the planting crew, interact with customers, and ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of work.

The role oversees 1 Lead Operator and 3-4 crew members, with responsibility for trucks, inventory, and equipment. Must coach, train, and manage performance while meeting sales goals and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a retail, nursery, landscaping, or related environment preferred.
• Ability to coach team members to accomplish business goals.
• Strong customer relation and interpersonal skills.
• Clear and effective communication and documentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to self-direct and self-motivate to pursue business goals.
• Ability to work independently to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with basic computer software and GPS/POS technology.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a flatbed truck (non-CDL) with inventory and crew.
• Manage customer deliveries and plant installation operations.
• Ensure safe, clean, and friendly DNP visits with solid product knowledge.
• Train and develop crew members in installation and customer service.
• Provide performance feedback and conduct reviews per the company cycle.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Address issues from crews or customers and escalate when needed.
• Conduct crew safety training and ensure adherence to safety standards.
