This role acts as the engineering link across functions, focusing on protecting product intent, solving production issues, driving root cause analysis, and strengthening build quality in production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred
• 8+ years of related automotive engineering, manufacturing engineering, launch, quality or plant vehicle engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Support launch and ongoing production of Seat Complete and Restraints systems in a vehicle assembly plant environment.
• Serve as technical point of contact for plant issues related to seat assemblies, seat belts, airbags, sensors, fasteners, brackets, electrical connectors and vehicle integration.
• Help ensure manufacturing processes maintain design intent, regulatory/safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Lead or support root cause analysis, containment, corrective action development and validation of permanent fixes.
