Job summary

Slate is seeking a hands-on Plant Vehicle Engineer, Propulsion, HV Systems & Chassis to support vehicle assembly, launch readiness, production quality, and continuous improvement at the Warsaw Assembly Plant in Indiana. You’ll coordinate across drive units, HV battery interfaces, thermal systems, suspension, steering, and braking to protect design intent in production.

In this role you will lead issue diagnosis and containment, drive root-cause analysis, and work with Design & Release

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related automotive engineering or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with drive unit(s), HV systems, chassis or related launch/production activities.

Responsibilities

• Support launch and ongoing production of propulsion, HV, and chassis systems.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve production issues related to drive unit installation and HV interfaces.
• Partner with Design & Release Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve plant and vehicle-level concerns.
• Review production documentation and drive continuous improvement actions.
