Job summary

Slate is seeking a hands-on Plant Vehicle Engineering Technician, Electrical Systems & Harness Support to assist with launch readiness, production quality, and issue resolution of low- and high-voltage electrical interfaces in our USA manufacturing plant.

You will troubleshoot harness routing, connector seating, and measurement checks, supporting vehicle triage, repair validation, and cross-functional launch activities with engineering, quality, and production teams.

Qualifications

• : Hands-on experience with vehicle electrical systems, harness routing, connectors, grounds and power distribution.
• : High-voltage safety training or EV high-voltage qualification preferred.
• : Experience reading wiring diagrams, schematics, pinouts, and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support launch and ongoing production of low-voltage systems and high-voltage interfaces in a plant setting.
• Troubleshoot harness routing, connector engagement, pin fit, and continuity; document findings with photos and tests.
• Assist in vehicle triage, repair validation, containment, and corrective action validation.
