Job summary

SUNY Upstate Medical University is seeking a Plant Utilities Engineer 3 to lead data gathering and analysis efforts in support of the Physical Plant's plan. You will coordinate staff for the operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and heat-generating systems, and drive programs focused on health safety, energy conservation, and system maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform data gathering, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and coordinate duties to support the Physical Plant's plan.
• Direct and coordinate staff in the operation and maintenance of heat generating, air conditioning, HVAC and electrical equipment.
• Plan, direct and coordinate programs involving systems maintenance, health safety issues, and energy conservation.
