Job summary

SUNY Upstate Medical University is seeking a Plant Utilities Engineer 3 to lead data gathering and analysis efforts in support of the Physical Plant's plan. You will coordinate staff for the operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and heat-generating systems, and drive programs focused on health safety, energy conservation, and system maintenance.

The Plant Utilities Engineer 3 performs various administrative duties such as data gathering, qualitative and quantitative analysis, projects, program development, and coordination of duties in support of Physical Plant Assistant Director of Utilities for Physical Plant's plan, and direct and coordinate staff in the operation and maintenance of heat generating, air conditioning, HVAC and electrical equipment. The incumbent will also plan, direct and coordinate programs involving systems maintenance, health safety issues, and energy conservation. Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver's License.
