Job summary

JCB, Savannah manufacturing site, seeks a Training Manager to design and govern the plant's training strategy. You will partner with plant leaders to close skill gaps, create onboarding programs, and drive workforce development across shifts.

The role combines instructional design, leadership coaching, and program delivery to ensure safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Onsite work with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years in training, learning and development, organizational development, or workforce development.
• At least 2 years supporting manufacturing, industrial, production, or related environment.
• Experience designing, facilitating, and evaluating employee training programs.
• Experience partnering with operational leaders to identify skill gaps.
• Strong project-management and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and training-related technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a plant training strategy aligned with production priorities and workforce needs.
• Partner with functional leaders to identify gaps and prioritize learning solutions.
• Create annual and ongoing training plans for onboarding, development, and growth.
• Guide plant leadership on training priorities, resources, and risks.
• Ensure scalable, consistent training across shifts and departments.
• Design, facilitate, and evaluate instructor-led, virtual, and on-the-job training.
