Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a training specialist to onboard and train plant floor personnel in operation and maintenance of production equipment, safety, and quality procedures.

You will develop training components, lead classroom and on-the-job sessions, and coordinate with SMEs to ensure effective learning. The role requires 4+ years in manufacturing, with strong communication and adult-learning skills, plus proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably high-speed manufacturing.
• Experience training employees in a Manufacturing Facility.
• Previous experience training employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in developing training program components and methods.
• Support onboarding, lead classroom and on-the-job training, coordinate with SMEs.
• Administer training records and track progress; report to stakeholders.
• Evaluate employee proficiency via assessments.
• Coordinate and schedule training with resources.
• Access LMS and plant computer systems.
• Maintain positive work relationships and handle stress.
• Work flexible hours to train off shifts as needed.
• Champion continuous improvement of training effectiveness.
