Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Training Specialist to coordinate onboarding and training of plant floor personnel, focusing on operation and maintenance of production equipment, safety practices, and quality policies. You will manage training records, track progress in the LMS, and schedule sessions with plant resources.

The role emphasizes evaluating trainee proficiency, collaborating with SMEs, and maintaining a productive work environment while occasionally supporting off-shift training

Qualifications

• Onboarding/training plant floor personnel using classroom and on-the-job methods.
• Experience in manufacturing training and working with LMS.
• Ability to manage multiple training projects and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and off-shifts as needed.
• Knowledge of safety and quality policies in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Leads and assists in developing training components and methods.
• Supports onboarding and coordinates with SMEs for classroom and on-the-job training.
• Administers training records and tracks progress in the LMS.
• Evaluates trainee proficiency via applicable assessments.
• Coordinates and schedules training with plant resources.
• Accesses and exports information from plant systems and LMS.
• Maintains effective working relationships and handles stress.
• Works flexible hours to support off shifts as needed.
• Champions continuous improvement of plant technical training.
