Job summary

GAF is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee production shifts on a rotating basis, covering process, packaging, maintenance, and yard personnel. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity through direct leadership and coordination of production.

Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement, troubleshooting equipment issues, maintaining accurate timekeeping, and ensuring adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields preferred.
• 3 years as a production supervisor or 5 years as a lead operator in an industrial manufacturing environment, or 1 year supervisory experience with a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production shifts on a rotating basis including process, packaging, maintenance and yard personnel.
• Drive safety, quality and productivity through direct leadership and coordination of production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production method or machinery issues affecting run rates, downtime or quality.
• Maintain safe workplace and ensure timekeeping accuracy and attendance coverage.
• Monitor safety policies, conduct inspections, and address deficiencies.
