Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a self-managed leader to guide plant teams in manufacturing, ensuring safe operations, quality output, and KPI-driven performance. You will oversee short-term planning, process improvements, and staff development across hourly crews.

The role emphasizes collaboration with plant leadership, cost management, and a commitment to superior quality. A Bachelor degree and 3–5 years in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering or relevant concentration with 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading plant teams and achieving KPI targets.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, cost control and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant teams to align with strategic goals and ensure a safe, compliant environment.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and feedback to hourly teammates across safety, quality, environment, people, cost and productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement using Standards Driven Process and 5S methodologies.
• Develop leaders within the multi-skilled workforce and ensure bench strength and growth.
• Monitor department KPIs and communicate results for long-term success.
