Job summary

Materion in Elmore, Ohio seeks a Plant Manager, Support Services to lead EH&S, Quality, Maintenance, Facilities, Security, Shipping and Plant Admin, coordinating across functions to achieve operational excellence.

Based at the Elmore facility and reporting to the VP of Operations, the role drives safety culture, on-time delivery, productivity and cost targets while developing talent and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt or equivalent knowledge of Quality & Productivity Improvement Processes.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; fact-based decisions and disciplined execution.
• Experience leading multiple projects and teams in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Foster a best-in-class safety culture and drive safety initiatives.
• Support the Plant Manager, Operations to meet On Time Delivery, Productivity and Cost targets.
• Oversee compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations, labor laws, and corporate policies.
• Collaborate across Materion’s global organization to optimize functional costs and processes.
• Develop plant talent, career paths and leadership capabilities to retain top performers.
