Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a manufacturing supervisor for Plant 5 Ti-Cast Operation to lead a manufacturing workforce toward high-quality products, safe practices, and on-time scheduling aligned with business and customer needs.

The role emphasizes anticipating needs of stakeholders, driving continuous improvement, and enforcing safety and quality standards. A strong bias for action and effective communication across levels is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Supervises an effective team, plans meetings and performance appraisals, manages staffing, vacations, overtime, and leaves.
• Provides feedback and maintains documentation for disciplinary actions.
• Directs training and orientation of employees to ensure safety rules are known and understood.
• Schedules production and work teams, reviews production reports, and resolves operational problems to minimize costs and delays.
• Promotes EHS and continuous improvement initiatives and 6S leadership.
