Job summary

Environmental Air Systems in Rural Hall, NC, seeks a Project Superintendent to lead a 20–30 person manufacturing team, ensuring safe, timely production of HVAC structural frames. You will monitor schedules, drive lean improvements, and coach staff toward quality and budget goals while keeping open management communication.

This hands-on role emphasizes floor leadership, drawing reviews, and continuous improvement to meet production targets and plant efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Understanding of manufacturing process flow and bottlenecks.
• Knowledge of welding and structural steel concepts is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Hands-on manager who spends most time on the production floor.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety, quality, and housekeeping on the floor.
• Monitor productivity and coach staff as needed.
• Record time and produce daily production reports.
• Adhere to and optimize production schedules.
• Apply lean principles to increase output.
• Manage hours to meet orders within budget.
• Review drawings for production feasibility.
• Build and lead a high performing team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
