Environmental Air Systems, LLC in High Point, NC, is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead a 20–30-person manufacturing team responsible for HVAC structural frames. You will drive safety, quality, and lean improvements while communicating progress toward goals and production milestones.

The role is hands-on—approximately 90% on the production floor—requiring blueprint literacy, strong teamwork, and the ability to balance schedules with budgets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of welding, structural steel processes, and pipe installation is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in email, spreadsheets, word processing and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety, quality, and housekeeping.
• Monitor productivity on the production floor.
• Provide coaching and timely feedback.
• Track employee time and records.
• Prepare daily production reports.
• Adhere to production schedules.
• Improve output using lean principles.
• Control labor hours to meet budget.
• Review drawings for production feasibility.
• Build and lead a high performing team.
• Troubleshoot and solve production issues.
