Job summary

Ocean Spray Cranberries is seeking a Workforce Staffing Specialist for our Markham Manufacturing team. You will manage staffing for the plant, develop adaptable staff schedules, and collaborate with HR and hiring teams to ensure aligned staffing and timely communications.

You will assist onboarding, payroll, and communications activities, act as the SME on Workforce Management systems, and help maintain attendance and call logs while ensuring adherence to absence programs and policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage workforce staffing and create scheduling solutions based on business needs and absences.
• Complete hourly transfers, promotions, and job changes in compliance with applicable agreements.
• Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers and HR to place staff at the right time.
• Build relationships with departments and hourly employees for timely communication.
• Operate staffing software, ATS, and alert systems to track activity.
• Assist onboarding, payroll, and timekeeping system enrollment.
• Serve as SME on Workforce Management software and processes.
• Support attendance tracking and absence program compliance.
• Conduct operational audits and document SKA qualifications as needed.
• Utilize systems to generate and distribute operational reports.
• Support food safety and quality program initiatives.
